David turned to filmmaking at age 77 after a career in law, biotechnology, writing and publishing. Seeking the Light, a film about his life partner of more than fifty years, is his directorial debut.
Editor and Co-Director
Abigail is a Seattle filmmaker, artist and writer whose award-winning short Dahlia’s Monsters screened at festivals across the West Coast. She is pursuing a master’s in Communication Leadership at the University of Washington.
Original Score
Nick is a renowned composer whose credits include The Rock, The Man in the Iron Mask, We Were Soldiers, and Secretariat. His music for Seeking the Light, completed shortly before his death in 2026, was his final film score.
